Hey Samantha, nice to hear from someone new, I guess you are new here.
The reason we call them so is that calling anyone by its name refers to showing importance, but do we give a damn about their existence? So we call them chelski or rent boys or trolls or simply shite. :)

Samantha Bond <football_crazy_kiwi_chick@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:
why are you calling chelsea "chelski"?

That's why I appreciate Alan Smith, he puts club ahead of country, Go Smudger!

Samantha Bond <football_crazy_kiwi_chick@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:they won't withdraw from the england team now cause it's important for them to play for their country as it's about 7 months before the world cup.

Preston Adams <preston_adams101@yahoo.co.uk> wrote: England national team will never play to their best potential because they have that stoic swede as their manager. If you look at International teams from around the world, consider Italians, for the last four Internationals a new striker has found the back of the net for them on each occasion(Zaccardo being the latest). Do you think sven will dare to make such radical changes. Beckham has been playing well recently but there have been numerous under-par performances from him, most notably in last Euro and yet he retained his place in the team. So the sacking of Rio was unwarranted as he hadn't done anything wrong with England team, ok he did have a few howlers with United but thats a part of the game. However I personally would really love to see all United players including Rooney withdrawing from their national sides so that they are fresher and injury-free for premiership and champions league football.

YCSYFEUYA!

I was reminded of this recently in another group, and
that is the general feeling amongst Manchester United
supporters about the England team.

The dropping of Rio again shows why we all hate
England. Its not as if he has lost his form, in fact I
think he has done pretty well given the regular
changes we've had to our back line. He has just been
made a scapegoat. Agreed, he is probably not your fave
United player, but I think this is the time we need to
show him some support. On the flipside, it might just
be the motivation to bring the best out of him.

Sailesh

Yeah ...Rio is a decent defender ...his tackles are simply awesome
and cool...can neone tell me when he was given a yellow card last??
inspite of the fact that the whole burden is on him with the two exp
fullbacks injured...probably can put him along with the best
defenders of the world currently !!
