Well, I hope that both Cris and Wayne are doing well now...

Fergie: Roon & Ron Will Be Okay

Sir Alex Ferguson insists injuries to Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo picked up during United's 6-1 win over Antwerp are not serious.

Both players had to leave the field for treatment after suffering ankle knocks during United's emphatic victory in Belgium.

However, the United boss insists his two young starlets will be fit for next Tuesday's Champions League qualifier first leg clash with Hungarian champions Debrecen at Old Trafford.

"They've just got a couple of knocks," Sir Alex told MUTV. "Just knocks, that's all.

"It was just a knock on the ankle for both of them but they'll be okay."

A first half hat-trick from Ruud van Nistelrooy set United on their way to an impressive win in their final pre-season game much to the delight of the Reds boss.

"Ruud's play has been really good. His movement was terrific in behind them, he got in two or three times, and is in good form.

"Ruud's that kind of person; goals are the most important thing in his life. When he's scoring, it's hard to get him off it.

"Roy [Keane] got 90 minutes, that's the most important thing," added Sir Alex. "He didn't flag at any stage and coped very well.

"Ryan Giggs had a bit of a virus so we didn't bring him, while Louis Saha had a knee knock.

"Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] is doing well. He felt his knee again but it was a different part of his knee and he's back training again."
